For any society or Nation to progress , It's important that their citizens are physically fit. therefore On 29 August 2019 , the Honorable Prime Minister launched nation wide "Fit India Movement" aimed to encourage people to inculcate physical activity and sports in their everydayy lives and daily routine. So CBSE has decided that each year total of 6 working of November month will be celebrated as "Fit India School Week" . in all the affiliated schools. Here Vivekanada World School took initiative to conduct this Fitness Week Celebration.

Day - 1

Morning Assembly

a) Yoga Activity

#YOGA🙇🏻 SADF A light which once lit will never dim,the better you practise the better you flame💥 #Indoor_yoga in the school campus of Vivekananda for a sound mind and sound body #self improvement #self acceptance !!

b) Fitness and Nutrition Activity

Fitness is all about 20%excercise 🏋🏻and 80% nutrition 🍱 Fitness and Nutrition activity showcasing among the children to promote the importance of health amongst them #fitnessfreaks !!


Day - 2

a) FREE HANDS EXERCISE

To enjoy the glow of health , one should excercise. Morning exercise in the ground of Vivekananda with the sole objective to achieve a good health & mind .

b) LECTURE BY SPORTS PSYCHOLOGIST

Physical fitness starts with mental fitness!! Introducing mental fitness activity to Vivekanandans to teach them that ' Mental fitness is the greatest asset '.


Day - 3

a) POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

Healthy ecosystem promotes healthy lifestyle. Poster making activity on 'fit mind, fit body & fit environment. To inculcate the lesson through poster making that we don't have a society if we destroy the environment .


Day - 4

a) ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

Every secret of a writer's soul,every experience of his life & quality of his minds is written large in his works. 'Essay Writing Competition ' in VWS to imbibe the skills of writing in Vivekanandans.

Day - 5

a) SPORTS QUIZ

Sports are the epitome of hardwork and dedication!!.'Sports Quiz’ held in Vivekananda school to enhance the knowledge of students regarding sports.


Day - 6

a) INDIGENOUS GAMES

Fitness is not about being better than someone else. It's about being better than you used to be!!. Games including chain, chorsipahi, goti,kabbadi,kho- kho,Audupuliaatam
